Bob and Stephanie chat with Rev. Dr. Jeff Greenway, Chair of the WCA Council, about the process of developing a foundation for a new traditional Methodist denomination and how things might look different from the present United Methodist Church. Jeff also gives us an update on the progress of the WCA Ministry Task Forces, offers some advice to pastors in preparing their churches for General Conference 2021, and gives us his vision for the future of the Methodist movement.

I am so excited about this new movement back to traditional Methodism. I pulled our family away from the United Methodist church almost 4 years ago because I could no longer trust the doctrine being pushed with each sermon. We have been attending a local independent Baptist Church in the area, but the grandchildren are having a hard time settling in. What would be nice is if there was an online Wesleyan Covenant service that also had a children’s lesson for the kids to start with every Sunday.

Very informative. If interested in the path of the development of the “new” traditional church for the UMC this is a great way to stay informed. Glad the WCA has started this podcast forum. 😀
