Pastors and local churches have been dealing with a host of issues during the first part of 2020, while denominational decisions about separation in the United Methodist Church still loom on the horizon. With the postponement of General Conference until late summer 2021, how might local churches use this time wisely to prepare for the future? What are some ways that pastors and church leaders can help people make good decisions? In this episode, Bob and Stephanie interview Rev. Jan Davis, Senior Pastor of Central UMC in Fayetteville, Arkansas and Rev. Carolyn Moore, Pastor of Mosaic Church in Evans, Georgia. These outstanding pastors offer their perspectives and wisdom from both large and small church settings and provide some insight into best practices for preparing for what's next.
